CO 10% 310 mm Tungsten Carbide Rod with 0.6 Micron TC Phase, 14.37
g / cm3 Density
Description:
Cemented carbide essentially consists of two main components: hard
metal tungsten carbide (WC) and binding agent Co.
Our carbide rods are sintered by vacuum HIP furnace so that we can
guarantee products are with uniform microstructure and high
transverse rupture strength.
The rods offered by us are widely known for their features like
excellent hardness, transverse rupture strength, durability.
We use optimum quality materials and high-tech computer controlled
vacuum furnaces to ensure cemented carbide bar quality.

Application:
Jinlei Grade | ISO Grade | The recommended tools | Description |
HF30 | K30 - K40 | Solid carbide drills | With 10% cobalt and 90% tungsten carbide. Superior advantages where high toughness and sharp edge profiles are needed. Outstanding performance over a wide range of tool and workpiece types. |
Application | • Carbon steel |
Competitive Advantage:
Compared to high speed steel, tungsten carbide consists of natural
hard and stable phase, and practically doesn’t lose any level of
its high hardness when heating up. However, the high hardness of
HSS is only in a result of quenching process during which hard
phase nucleates & grows. It breaks down easily when annealing.
Therefore, carbide tools last significantly longer than HSS.
In addition, carbide allows for faster machining and carbide tools
can also withstand higher temperatures than standard high speed
steel tools.
